Mrs. Weiss’s class has been studying about ecosystems. In this activity students learned that an organism can only survive in an ecosystem where its needs are met. They got to explore living things and non-living things, such as pebbles, sand, water, plants, fish, air etc.. They also got to think and will continue to study about the changes in ecosystems and the impacts they have on living things.

Our first day of school is Wednesday, August 21st.!!! 🎉
Students riding with parents need to be dropped off at the front (west facing) entrance. Please remember if you are not dropping your student in the drive thru lane, you MUST park in the parking lot and cross your student across the drive thru lane.
Students should not be dropped off before 7:50am unless they are a part of the Y-Zone program.
Breakfast begins at 7:50.
Class begins at 8:20. Anyone coming after 8:30 will need to be signed in by a parent and will be marked tardy.
Pick up for car riders is at 3:15 (west entrance again). Please follow flow of traffic as well as instructions given by pick up supervisors. If you choose to walk up to the entrance to pick up your student, you must park in a parking spot.

It was discovered that 5th grade rosters were a jumbled mess this week. Not sure of the reasons behind the glitch in the system, but it has since been fixed and all rosters are now accurate! Please log in to Family Access to see who your fifth grade student will have as his/her teacher. Some students are with different teachers now. I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. Thanks for your understanding!
School supply drop off for CES kiddos is August 20th from 2:30-3:30.
Registration at CES tomorrow! 9-1 and 4-7
