Dear Families,

Welcome to a new and exciting school year at Clinton Junior High School! As the principal at CJHS, I am thrilled to extend a warm greeting to all our students, parents, and guardians. We are looking forward to a year filled with growth, learning, and memorable experiences.

Our commitment to fostering a positive and nurturing environment is anchored in our Maroon Pride standards: being Safe, being Responsible, and being Respectful. These principles are not just guidelines but the foundation of our school culture and community.

Being Safe: Safety is our top priority. We are dedicated to creating a secure environment where students feel protected and supported. This includes not only physical safety but emotional well-being as well. We encourage open communication and proactive measures to address any concerns that may arise.

Being Responsible: Responsibility is key to personal and academic success. We expect our students to take ownership of their learning and behavior, and we work collaboratively with families to support these values. Our teachers are here to guide and inspire, helping each student reach their full potential.

Being Respectful: Respect for oneself, others, and the environment is crucial for a successful school community. We strive to create an atmosphere where kindness and empathy are practiced daily. By emphasizing respect, we aim to create a supportive and inclusive environment for everyone.

We hope to build strong partnerships between home and school to help these goals.
